Holistic Microneedling: A Naturally Powerful Approach to Aging Beautifully

Microneedling, or Collagen Induction Therapy, involves the use of small sterilized needles to encourage the formation of new collagen and elastin. The needles penetrate the top layer of skin to stimulate the deeper layer where collagen and elastin are produced. Collagen and elastin are important proteins that support the firmness and smoothness of the skin above it.

While old collagen fibers are broken down through the microneedling process, the production of new fibroblasts (which produce more elastin) is stimulated, resulting in a whole new collagen matrix over time.

Another benefit of Microneedling is that it opens up channel pathways that allow topical products to penetrate into deeper layers of the skin.
